Product Description
8 Inch Borewell Submersible Pump Set (Mix Flow)
SINGLA (8") Borewell Submersible Pump sets are made of hard wearing parts which makes the pump sets highly durable. Mix flow submersible pump sets are fitted with stainless steel impellers and vital components like stage casing, suction are made of graded cast iron. Built in check valve prevents back flow and reduces the risk of water hammering. These pump sets are powered with (8") water filled rewindable submersible motors with stators made of low watt loss laminations which ensures higher efficiency. Dynamically balanced rotors and specially designed thrust bearings enables vibration and noise free operation with minimum wear and tear. Pump sets with 6" submersible motor combination are also available on request.

Reliable Performance and DurabilityOur 8" Mix Flow Borewell Submersible Pumps are equipped with high-grade stainless steel shafts and cast iron construction to ensure longevity even under rigorous operating conditions. The use of heavy-duty thrust and journal bearings, coupled with an IP 68 rated water-cooled motor, further enhances the reliability and lifespan of these pumps.
Versatile Applications Across IndustriesDesigned for versatility, these pumps meet the needs of agricultural initiatives, irrigation projects, and industrial water supply systems. The mixed flow impeller provides high discharge up to 1000 LPM, making them ideal for both large-scale fields and municipal installations. The pumps are self-priming and suitable for clear, cold, non-corrosive water.
Ease of Installation and OperationThe vertical mounting style and counterclockwise rotation (from the drive end) simplify installation in bore sizes of 8 inches. With a submersible suction type and robust PVC or rubber insulated cable, these pumps can be installed up to 150 meters deep, with all critical components designed for convenient setup, minimal maintenance, and consistent operation.
FAQs of 8" Mix Flow Borewell Submersible Pumps:
Q: How do I properly install an 8" Mix Flow Borewell Submersible Pump?
A: Installation requires placing the pump vertically inside an 8-inch borewell up to 150 meters deep. Ensure it is correctly aligned and connected to a compatible three-phase (380-415V, 50 Hz) power supply. The pumps water-cooled motor and PVC/rubber insulated cable are ideal for submerged operation in clear, cold water.
Q: What types of water are suitable for use with this submersible pump?
A: This pump is suitable for clear, cold, non-corrosive water, making it ideal for agricultural, industrial, irrigation, and general water supply applications. It should not be used with corrosive or contaminated fluids.
Q: When should the thermal overload protector feature be used?
A: The integrated thermal overload protector activates automatically when the motor temperature rises beyond safe limits, safeguarding the pump against overheating during extended operation or adverse conditions, thereby ensuring uninterrupted performance.
Q: Where can these submersible pumps be applied?
A: Our pumps are versatile and can be employed in agriculture fields, irrigation channels, industrial water distribution, and municipal water supply systems across India. Their robust build and compliance with ISI/ISO standards permit installation in varied environments.
Q: What is the maintenance process for these pumps?
A: Regular maintenance involves checking the mechanical seals, thrust and journal bearings, and ensuring the motor remains free of debris. Since the pump is submersible and water-cooled, periodic inspection of cable insulation and system integrity is advised for optimal performance.
Q: How does the mixed flow impeller design benefit water pumping efficiency?
A: Mixed flow impellers combine axial and radial flow principles, offering high discharge rates (up to 1000 LPM) and substantial head capability (up to 180 meters), which improves overall efficiency and allows the pump to serve both high volume and high pressure needs.
Q: What are the advantages of using stainless steel and cast iron materials in the pumps construction?
A: Stainless steel and cast iron impart exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and durability to the pump. These materials help maintain performance and prolong service life, making the pump a reliable solution for demanding water supply applications.
